Having A Crush On Speak Eazy Alternative Bar

This would be my second mobile blogging post. Another achievement unlocked. Yes! Here goes…

Last weekend a bunch of us monkeys decided to hangout in this place called Speak Eazy Alternative Bar, Kuching. Being informed that this bar has making its name up the casual bar/bistro rank in Kuching really makes us eager to check it out. Thanks to Ophelia, we finally got the chance to sort the timing all right this time.

The fact that the co-owner of the bar was one of our friend was among the reason why we choose this place to hangout that evening. I was really surprised when I met my ex-colleague was working there too. Things just gets better as the hours passes.

When we walked in, the first thing I noticed was a little bit different from the other bars or bistros that I went was the collection of board games and books which you can choose to spend your time while chilling there. Some of these games were very nostalgic like the ‘Snake & Ladder’,’Monopoly’ and ‘Scrabble’. I can’t even remember when was the last time I really sat down and play those games. Probably during high school years.

Apart from that, I fall in love with their menu almost immediately. Because they have PIZZA! I love thin crust pizzas. That day, we manage to try their Chicken Buffallo Pizza and the Chicken Sausage Pizza.

Sorry folks. The Chicken Buffallo pizza is so good, it finishes before we have the chance to took its full size serving.

We did tried the Chachos Pie too. OMG! This is a must try menu when you guys visit this place. I’m not trying to boost or anything, it is really good. Give it a try and you’ll know what I mean.

We really talked about a lot of things that night. Our conversation evolve from how we started blogging to food recipes and photography stuffs. Even have an emotional sharing moments. Maybe because of the cozy and comfortable environment makes us feel like home there.
